Mohammad Javad Azimi, an Iranian theorist and philosopher, was born on February 18, 1959, in the city of Mashhad.

He completed comprehensive academic studies by pursuing specialized courses and extensive research in diverse fields such as philosophy, psychology, neuroscience, cosmology, astrophysics, immunology, and the study of culture and religion at prestigious universities and academic institutions in Greece, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. He benefited from the teachings of eminent scholars in these fields and gained a profound understanding of various subjects.

With a passion for knowledge and a commitment to education, he dedicated his life to the pursuit of truth. Possessing extensive knowledge and valuable experience, he inspired countless students and, for nearly three decades, nurtured new generations of thinkers at various universities and academic centers.

Dr. Azimi did not publish any written works during his lifetime. However, his oral works were extensive and numerous, earning him the title of a “verbal thinker.”

Although many of his innovative ideas, born from deep reflections on humanity and the universe, were not published during his lifetime, his groundbreaking theories and valuable works in five fundamental areas shaping human culture, including philosophy, science, religion, art, and mysticism, are being published and presented to seekers of knowledge by his students around the world.

Mohammad Javad Azimi passed away on July 26, 2018, at the age of 59, due to an undisclosed illness. He was laid to rest in the Distinguished Persons section of Behesht-e Reza cemetery in Mashhad.

A

autobiography

I begin my autobiography with what I think might be useful for the esteemed audience:

The phenomenon that has always occupied my mind throughout my studies, whether at university or in religious seminary, and which still hasn’t left me, started in the middle years of my schooling:

What is being, and who is the human being?

Naturally, there was no definitive or specific answer readily available. What was offered came from a diverse range of perspectives: religious, philosophical, scientific, artistic, and mystical, all shaped by the insights of great thinkers and scholars. Throughout the various phases of my academic and research life, I sought answers to those two questions within these five domains. It didn’t take long for me to realize that these five domains form the core pillars of human culture. My enthusiasm for exploring and learning about these five elements was equally intense, and I couldn’t content myself with focusing on just one or two.

Thus, while respecting the principles of academic education, I found the opportunity for creativity to be limited within its confines. By freeing myself from what I considered specific and directed information, I focused all my efforts on enriching my perspective within the essential pillars of religious, philosophical, scientific, mystical, and artistic ideas. Once this perspective took shape, I had the privilege of teaching numerous students and researchers across different universities. Additionally, I held private classes and discussions based on the special interests of these individuals.

The outcome of my efforts in learning and teaching revealed to me that entering the world of human culture requires an understanding of all five domains—religion, philosophy, mysticism, science, and art. While it’s natural to specialize in one or two of these areas, a comprehensive perspective is essential for making meaningful contributions to the cultural realm. Without this perspective, success is unlikely.

Given that the foundation of all human achievements lies in the proper functioning of the brain, my current focus has shifted to psychological research within the scope of human brain functions. Undoubtedly, exploring the structure and capabilities of the human brain is one of the most fascinating endeavors within the field of psychology. This exploration can be approached from various angles, and the five-million-year history of human civilization provides a comprehensive view of the brain’s abilities.

The process of conceptualizing ideas and bringing them to fruition forms the backbone of human civilization. Evidence-based teaching, which illustrates how to materialize ideas, became the starting point of my teaching in the field of psychological research and opened the door to understanding the contemporary world and the modern human being. After holding several courses under these two themes, I moved on to address the question, “How can we become contemporary?” This led to teaching about brain productivity systems and self-discovery for today’s individuals. Subsequently, the most critical insights from modern psychological and neuroscientific research were introduced under the theme of “Code-Based Psychology” to help achieve a better quality of life.

The capabilities of the human brain must be studied in an interconnected manner; only in this way can the true power of the brain be partially understood, revealing the grandeur of human thought. My approach in academic and scientific circles, whether as a learner or a teacher, has always been based on this belief. Over the past forty years, I have analyzed and explored the human brain’s capacities within five domains: thought, experience, belief, perspective, and beauty. All my dialogues with great scholars and dear students have been in pursuit of understanding the profound capabilities of the human brain.

The available audio, visual, and written records of my academic and scientific contributions are categorized into five different shelves.
